VERY RARE flight manual for the Arado Ar 234 B-2, a German jet-powered bomber and reconnaissance aircraft from World War II. The manual is titled "Ar 234 B-2 Flugzeug-Handbuch (verkürzt)" which translates from German to "Aircraft Handbook (shortened)". The manual's issue date is December 1944, and it is marked "Nur für den Dienstgebrauch," meaning "For official use only". The Arado Ar 234 was the world's first operational jet bomber and was used by the Luftwaffe in the final months of the war.

The Arado Ar 234 B-2 was a single-seat, twin-engine jet aircraft. It was used primarily for reconnaissance due to its high speed, which made it difficult for Allied propeller-driven fighters to intercept. The aircraft was also used as a bomber, most notably in attempts to destroy the Ludendorff Bridge at Remagen in March 1945. Only a small number of Ar 234 aircraft were produced, and they had little impact on the outcome of the war.
